Sir Robert McAlpine has secured a prestigious contract to construct a state-of-the-art Battery Manufacturing Facility. The initial phase of the project includes the design and construction of a new 15GWh lithium-ion battery facility, ancillary buildings, and site-wide external works.

The Senior Quantity Surveyor role - MEP

Ideally, you'll:

• Be a recognized MEP Senior Quantity Surveyor with strong commercial awareness, focusing on profit and cash.
• Have prior experience with CM projects.
• Manage various commercial aspects including procurement, tendering, contract administration, variations, and subcontract works packages to final account.
• Be keen to minimize risk, control costs, and maximize value through cost checking and analysis of labour, plant, and materials.
• Have broad construction industry experience across various sectors and markets in main contracting organizations.

Your profile

• Extensive knowledge in managing MEP packages.
• Experience from pre-contract to post-contract stages.
• Ability to interpret internal and external data and apply sound judgment to strategic decisions.
• Degree qualification in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, or a related field.
