Job summary

Randstad CPE seeks a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a regional office. You will review programmes and cost plans, work with supply chain to price scopes, and convert into subcontract orders.

On larger schemes, you will lead a commercial team, conduct pre-start meetings, and oversee payments, valuations and variations. The role involves site-based responsibilities and collaboration with delivery teams on blue light schemes moving to site late 2026, with multiple opportunities around the M4

Qualifications

• Experience with JCT and NEC family of contracts.
• Strong cost planning and procurement capability.
• On-site commercial management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review programmes and cost plans at the 2nd stage.
• Collaborate with supply chain to develop detailed prices for works.
• Prepare and issue subcontract orders and manage payments/valuations.
• Oversee variation accounts and contract administration.
• Lead and develop the commercial team on larger schemes; conduct pre-start meetings.
• Forecast and present CVR to Regional Commercial Directors.
