Position: Senior Quantity Surveyor
Location: Wembley & Barnet
Duration: Long-Term Opportunity (Approx. 2 Years)
Projects: De-RE Clad Projects (PCA Stage to Delivery)

We are actively recruiting for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our client's commercial team to manage two high-profile De-RE Clad projects based in Wembley and Barnet. These projects will take you through the full lifecycle, from PCA stage through to delivery, providing you with diverse and challenging work.

This position is a long-term freelance role estimated around 2 years paid on a CIS basis.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Oversee all aspects of cost management, including preparing budgets, managing costs, and ensuring projects are delivered within financial constraints.
  2. Provide accurate and timely cost estimates and reports at various stages of the project, including pre-construction, design, and delivery.
  3. Administer contracts and manage subcontractor procurement, including measurement, valuation, and certification of payments.
  4. Collaborate with project teams to monitor and manage project timelines, quality, and costs, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
  5. Attend client meetings, provide regular progress reports, and build strong working relationships with clients, subcontractors, and consultants.
Requirements:
  1. Proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor within the construction industry, particularly on large-scale projects.
  2. Experience working on De-RE Clad projects is desirable but not essential.
  3. Solid knowledge of NEC, JCT, and other standard forms of contracts.
  4. Strong experience in project cost management from PCA stage to delivery.
  5. Ability to manage multiple projects and effectively prioritize tasks.
  6. Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  7. A degree in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
