Job summary

Ogilvie Construction in North Scotland seeks a Senior Quantity Surveyor to cover an Elgin project. You will lead tender reviews, budgets, cash flows and commercial risk management, coordinating with the project team.

Qualifications

• Degree qualification in an appropriate discipline.
• Membership of a relevant professional institution.
• Sound knowledge of construction processes.

Responsibilities

• Review tender information including pricing, sub-contractors quotes, preliminaries and contract conditions.
• Review internal contract preliminary requirements and prepare spend budgets/cost forecasts.
• Prepare cash flow reports.
• Advise on contract requirements and manage project risks with the team.
• Involvement on Design & Build projects reviewing schedules of services and novation agreements.
• Manage procurement of sub-contractor packages and terms.
