Job summary

United Utilities is recruiting a Senior Quantity Surveyor to lead high-value contracts within the Commercial team in Warrington. You will drive value, ensure compliance and oversee a team of QS professionals across major programmes.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering large-volume contracts end-to-end.
• Solid understanding of QS processes across the full lifecycle.
• Strong commercial negotiation and dispute-resolution skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide commercial leadership across projects within the category plan.
• Engage with senior stakeholders to align commercial strategy with business needs.
• Ensure contractual compliance and manage consultant/contractor performance.
• Lead contract administration across the project lifecycle.
• Build strong supplier relationships and drive performance.
• Manage post-contract processes including early warnings, changes and final accounts.
