Job summary

Map Talent is recruiting an experienced Freelance Senior Quantity Surveyor for a major development in Cheltenham. The role covers internal and fit-out packages, with procurement, commercial management and delivery responsibilities as the project advances through its next stages.

The ideal candidate will have a Senior Quantity Surveyor background with main contractor experience, preferably from Tier 1 or Tier 2 firms, and a proven ability to manage complex packages on large-scale developments.

Qualifications

• Senior Quantity Surveyor with main contractor experience.
• Ideally from a Tier 1 or Tier 2 background.
• Strong experience managing internal/fit-out packages on large developments.
• Able to work autonomously while integrating into an established project team.
• Available to start ASAP.

Responsibilities

• Manage a number of internal and fit-out packages.
• Procurement and package management.
• Commercial management and cost control.
• Valuations, variations, payments and final accounts.
• Work closely with the wider commercial and delivery teams.
• Support the project as it progresses through the next stages.
