Job Description:

ABOUT THE ROLE

A great opportunity for an experienced commercial professional to work within a driven environment, hungry for success. You’ll be responsible for overseeing all commercial aspects on carpentry and joinery projects. Working in tandem with the joinery workshop manager & directors to ensure the in-house capability is there to produce items from tenders. Adhere to and engage with the Quality Management system and other company procedures as appropriate.

REQUIREMENTS

• Experience in joinery either from a trade background or in your current Quantity Surveying or Estimating position.
• Must have technical knowledge of joinery components, finishes, and manufacturing techniques.
• Ability to identify why client-designed joinery will not work as drawn.
• Experience with valuations and variations.
• Sub-Contractor Management skills.
• Client-facing experience.
• Contractually aware.
• History of settling final accounts.
• Willingness to work as part of a small office team.
• Clear and concise communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Adaptability and ability to manage work priorities independently.
