The Role - What We Are Looking For

Following recent projects with Network Rail, EDF, and the Environment Agency, and supporting major projects in the Middle East from our UK offices, we seek ambitious, highly motivated Associate-level Commercial Managers with UK infrastructure experience to join our team. The ideal candidates will have:

  1. Experience leading pre-contract and post-contract commercial services on UK infrastructure, utilities, or complex construction projects exceeding £100m.
  2. Knowledge of administering or auditing NEC4, NR, or FIDIC contracts.
  3. Experience leading project delivery teams within a client organization or consultancy.
  4. Advisory experience, including structuring evaluations and recommendations.
  5. The ability to lead commissions delivering high standards in challenging, fast-paced environments, achieving successful client outcomes.
  6. A proactive approach to learning, development, and knowledge sharing across projects.
  7. Experience mentoring junior staff and supporting bids for new work.

Skills and Attributes

  • Membership in a professional institution (APM, RICS, ICE, etc.).
  • Significant experience in commercial roles on complex UK civil engineering and construction projects.
  • Strong technical writing, client-facing, and communication skills.
  • Well-organized, diligent, proactive, assertive, disciplined, and commercially savvy.
  • Ability to obtain Security Clearance.
