Job summary

Bennett & Game Recruitment Ltd. is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their Ely team. You will deliver full pre- and post-contract QS services across a diverse portfolio including residential, healthcare, commercial and education sectors with projects across the UK.

The role offers hybrid working (typically 1 day per week from home), 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, a pension scheme, and clear career progression within a growing consultancy.

Qualifications

Proven experience in Quantity Surveying.
Strong pre- and post-contract knowledge.
Commercially astute with project independence.
Strong communication and client-facing skills.

Responsibilities

Deliver full pre and post-contract QS services across a varied project portfolio.
Manage projects from cost planning and procurement through to final account.
Prepare estimates, cost plans, tender docs, Bills of Quantities and cost reports.
Manage valuations, variations, change control and final account negotiations.
Attend client, site and commercial meetings and build stakeholder relationships.
Mentor junior members of the Quantity Surveying team.
Travel to project sites and client locations across the UK as required.
