Job summary

Britplas in Warrington is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to oversee financial and contractual control on commercial glazing and cladding projects. Full-time hybrid role with some home working.

You will manage cost plans, budgets, BOQs, and cost reports, track cash flow, and ensure outcomes meet project objectives while collaborating with design, procurement and site teams. The ideal candidate will have a proven QS track record in commercial buildings and strong JCT/NEC knowledge.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in a Senior Quantity Surveyor role, with experience in commercial buildings.
• Strong working knowledge of JCT and NEC contracts.
• Cost management, procurement strategies and commercial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all commercial aspects of façade projects from tender through to final account.
• Prepare tender documents, contracts, budgets, bills of quantities, cost value reconciliations (CVR’s) and other documentation.
• Lead procurement of subcontractors and suppliers, including negotiation of terms and pricing.
• Monitor and control project costs, identifying risks and opportunities.
• Administer contracts under JCT and NEC forms, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations.
• Attend client and subcontractor meetings and mentor junior commercial staff.
