Job summary

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying is preferred.
• 2–3 years of senior QS experience required.

Responsibilities

• Manage day to day commercial and contract activities.
• Create and monitor procurement schedules.
• Ensure supplier agreements and sub-contractors are managed per policies.
• Use costing system for allocation and coding.
• Provide regular updates to achieve milestones.
• Process monthly payment applications as agreed with client.
• Update contract obligations for client requirements.
• Manage Tender vs Construction Cost analysis.
• Oversee sub-contractor accounts and assist PMs with appointments and variations.
• Support estimating team during handover.
• Negotiate contracts and payment terms.
• Liaise with client and sub-contractors; attend site meetings when required.
• Maintain contact with site staff for project updates and variations.
• Mentor junior members of the commercial team.
• Notify management of value increases or issues affecting performance.
• Produce monthly cost reports for Commercial Manager.
