Responsibilities:

• Manage projects from tender handover to final account, ensuring cost efficiency and monitoring operations.
• Prepare detailed cost reports, forecasts, and manage cash flow and sales forecasting.
• Handle monthly payment applications, cost/value reporting, and subcontractor management.
• Negotiate contracts and subcontract T&Cs, and oversee procurement processes.
• Promote safe working practices within the commercial team.
• Mentor and develop junior team members.
• Liaise with other departments and perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications:

• Degree in a relevant Cost/Commercial field with demonstrable experience.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role.
• Effective communication skills for presentations and reports to all levels, including external stakeholders.
• Proficient in IT, especially Excel and Word.
• Strong commercial acumen with experience in detailed cost reports and forecasts.
• Experience with NEC3/4 contracts management and administration.
• Water Industry MEICA experience is preferred but not essential.
