Job summary

Stratus Search & Recruitment is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to lead commercial governance across fit-out and refurbishment projects in the UK. You will own project financials from pre-construction through final account, ensuring robust budgeting, forecasting, invoicing, and subcontractor negotiations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within fit-out or refurbishment.
• Strong track record managing commercial aspects of projects valued between £250k and £4m.
• Experience with JCT contracts and contract administration.
• Excellent financial, commercial, and contractual acumen.

Responsibilities

• Oversee project budgets, forecasts, and cash flow management.
• Monitor project performance against commercial targets.
• Lead final account negotiations with clients and subcontractors.
• Produce monthly CVRs and management reports.
• Support budgeting and business planning activities.
