Inform3 is seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a building and civils contractor in Tyrone. The Senior QS will ensure that all commercial aspects of contracts are properly managed and controlled to support further company expansion.

As an experienced Quantity Surveyor, you will bring your expertise and knowledge to support and assist the team.

Senior Quantity Surveyor Job Specification

• Deliver commercial management services for all tendering and projects.
• Prepare timely internal commercial reports.
• Prepare monthly CVRs, including WIP control and project cash flow forecasts.
• Monitor project costs and expenditures to ensure completion within budget.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors for effective cost control.
• Assist in resolving contractual and commercial issues.
• Prepare valuations/payment applications with supporting documentation as per contracts.
• Support continuous improvement of cost and project control procedures with directors and contracts managers.
• Lead procurement processes, including negotiations with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.
• Prepare and review tender documents, estimates, and submission documents including PQQs.
• Measure quantities according to standard methods of measurement.
• Administer subcontractor/supplier accounts, including purchase orders, monitoring, and final account agreements.
• Undertake contract administration for minor works.
• Meet with clients' commercial representatives to agree variations and valuations.
• Prepare, submit, and agree on interim valuations.
• Ensure timely finalization of accounts.
• Manage contractual claims and records.

Senior Quantity Surveyor Requirements

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management.
• Motivated, driven, and team-oriented.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• 10+ years of experience.
• Civil engineering sector experience is advantageous.
• Commercially astute.
• Experience in developing forecasts.
