Job summary

Aldwych Consulting Ltd is seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our commercial team on a major data centre development in the UK. You’ll take commercial responsibility for a substantial package from procurement through to final account.

The role requires NEC contract expertise, delivery of complex civil engineering projects, and the ability to lead and mentor junior staff within a fast-paced environment. A competitive salary and comprehensive benefits are on offer.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor on major civil engineering or construction projects.
• Strong NEC contracts knowledge.
• Experience managing complex subcontract packages.

Responsibilities

• Managing the commercial aspects of a major enabling works package.
• Administering NEC contracts and managing contractual obligations.
• Procurement and management of subcontractors.
• Preparing and agreeing valuations, variations and final accounts.
• Cost reporting, forecasting and CVRs.
• Managing change control and compensation events.
• Building strong relationships with both internal and client teams.
• Supporting and mentoring junior commercial staff where required.
