Overview

Salter Grange is working with a first-class Main Contractor that operates globally, specialising in building critical infrastructure across the Data Centre sector for tomorrow's world. Due to project wins, they seek a highly experienced and ambitious Senior Quantity Surveyor/Commercial Lead to join their team for a Hyper-Scale Data Centre project in Helsinki, Finland. This permanent position has an attractive salary and a comprehensive benefits package, including accommodation, flights, travel allowances, healthcare coverage and visa sponsorship if needed.

Responsibilities
  • Assisting the Construction Team with all Quantity Surveying functions, including contract compliance and advice.
  • Identifying potential commercial risks and promptly reporting them to management.
  • Managing operational procurement activities and providing contract support in collaboration with the Procurement Department.
  • Overseeing subcontractor accounts from initial award to interim valuation, variations, and final accounts.
  • Providing analysis of issues and risks as required by management.
  • Ensuring accurate reporting in line with Group Policies and highlighting exceptions to management.
Senior Quantity Surveyor Requirements
  • Possess relevant third-level qualifications in Quantity Surveying.
  • Have a minimum of 5+ years of post-qualification experience in a large-scale onsite environment.
  • Experience on large construction projects with reputable main contractors.
