Job Description:

Calibre Search is looking to speak with project-running, MRICS-qualified Quantity Surveyors who would relish the chance to join a practice with a global presence but a close-knit team based in Manchester.

They have exciting projects after securing work on large Government agency frameworks, leading and delivering Cost Management services on property schemes including town halls, courts, libraries, and other local authority buildings across the region.

Ideally, you will be QS degree qualified with a few years' experience, confident in offering pre- and post-contract services as a PQS.

This role is perfect if you like the idea of joining a reputable practice with international exposure but prefer working within a smaller, supportive team involved in charity and social events.

Responsibilities

• Managing all aspects of pre-contract cost management using traditional skills and digital technology.
• Assisting the Senior QS with cost estimating, tender document preparation, post-contract administration, managing client relationships, and service delivery.
• Demonstrating a proven track record of service delivery in consultancy.

Requirements

• Degree-qualified Quantity Surveyor with experience from a construction/property background.
• Team player with good people management skills to support and mentor colleagues.
• Effective client interface skills and experience.
• Ambition and drive to deliver high-quality professional services.
