Job Opportunity: Senior Quantum Consultant

A leading construction consultancy specializing in commercial disputes is seeking an experienced Senior Quantum Consultant to join their team in Central London.

This role is ideal for a Senior Quantity Surveyor interested in pursuing a career in claims and dispute management. The company supports professional qualifications such as MSc Construction Law or RICS Expert Witness. The successful candidate will gain valuable experience in claims, disputes, and arbitration on high-profile landmark projects.

This is a hybrid role with two to three days per week expected in the London office.

The Role

Working as part of an experienced team, the Senior Quantity Surveyor will support claims and disputes for various construction main contractors on major projects across the UK and internationally.

Responsibilities include:

1. Supporting the analysis and assessment of claims and counterclaims
2. Analyzing large quantities of supporting data and quickly identifying key areas
3. Using Excel and other software to analyze relevant quantum data
4. Providing specialist expert advice
5. Assisting the lead consultant in writing expert reports

Experience Required

Suitable candidates will have a degree in Quantity Surveying and ideally be working towards CIARB or RICS accreditation.

Applicants should have experience with claims or disputes, preferably within the construction sector working for a main contractor on major projects.

A thorough understanding of NEC contracts is essential.

You should be a self-starter with a proactive approach and excellent communication skills.
