Job summary

Randstad CPE is recruiting Senior Quantity Surveyors for civil engineering and utilities projects in the Central Belt, with hybrid working (1 day in office, 2 days WFH, 2 days on site) and long-term frameworks with Scottish Water and SSE.

The role requires a proven QS track record in civil/utility projects, strong NEC4 knowledge, and eligibility to work in the UK. Packages include competitive salary and benefits.

Qualifications

• Proven track record as a Quantity Surveyor or Senior QS within Civil Engineering, Utilities, Water or Energy infrastructure.
• Strong working knowledge of NEC4 contracts.
• Experience managing multi-site packages or framework-style deliveries.
• Valid CSCS Card.
• Full UK Driving Licence for regular site visits across Central Belt/Glasgow area.

Responsibilities

• Oversee commercial management across a multi-project portfolio (up to 10 schemes at various lifecycle stages).
• Full commercial governance under NEC4 (Option A, B, C & E frameworks).
• Manage Early Warnings (EWNs), Compensation Events (CEs), payment applications, and sub-contract liabilities.
• Cost value reconciliations (CVRs), cash flow forecasting, and monthly commercial reporting.
• Lead client commercial interfaces with Scottish Water and SSE representatives.
