Job summary

Kenton Black Limited is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor for a private civil engineering contractor based in Worcestershire. The role will cover both site and office work across the region, with responsibilities including valuations, cost value reports, measurements, sub contract procurement and final accounting.

The works typically range between £5m and £20m, with a clear path to progression within the business as it expands into new geographies.

Qualifications

• Strong civil engineering background.
• Experience on earthworks, highways, drainage, S278s, footways and culverts.
• Valuations and cash collection experience.

Responsibilities

• Produce valuations and cost reports.
• Manage measurements, subcontract procurement and payments.
• Prepare forecasts with the site team.
• Oversee junior staff on the project.
