Join a well-established and award-winning M&E contractor delivering major building services across the UK and Europe. With over 4 decades of industry experience and a diverse project portfolio, they are now looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join their growing commercial team in Wolverhampton.

You’ll play a key role in preparing, managing, and tracking project costs from initial handover through to final account sign-off, contributing directly to the successful delivery of complex mechanical and electrical projects.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Reviewing all construction documentation and understanding tender information and BOQs.
  • Preparing and maintaining Cost Plans in line with internal Commercial SOPs.
  • Leading procurement of major supplier and subcontractor packages.
  • Preparing and submitting monthly interim valuations and variations to clients.
  • Issuing subcontract documents in accordance with commercial procedures.
  • Reviewing and issuing main contract documents and collateral warranties.
  • Tracking labour hours via the Donseed system and identifying any concerns early.
  • Auditing subcontractor payment applications and preparing pay-less notices as needed.
  • Managing and uploading subcontractor variations into the ERP system.
  • Monitoring site programmes to assess delays and potential commercial impact.
  • Attending internal and external commercial meetings as required.
  • Maintaining the internal document management system in line with best practice and filing protocols.

What We’re Looking For

  • Extensive experience working as a Quantity Surveyor, ideally in a senior capacity.
  • Proven track record within the mechanical, electrical, or building services sectors.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying or related construction discipline.
  • Strong understanding of the tendering process and construction lifecycle.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with industry-standard systems such as Donseed and ERP platforms is a plus.
  • Highly organised, detail-focused, and commercially driven.
