We are looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team. In this role, you will:

  • Provide commercial leadership and guidance on projects to ensure cost-effective delivery within budget.
  • Prepare and analyse cost reports, offering regular updates to the project team and stakeholders.
  • Implement cost control and value management strategies.
  • Prepare monthly forecasts, CVRs, and Profit & Loss statements.
  • Oversee the commercial aspects of projects.
  • Manage cash flow effectively.
  • Handle subcontractor payments.
  • Offer expertise on contractual issues.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Qualified to HND level or higher with a valid CSCS card and extensive house building industry experience.
  • Proven track record as a Quantity Surveyor with strong knowledge of current market conditions, rates, and building regulations.
  • Highly numerate and detail-oriented, skilled in budget preparation, valuations, and live cost control across all trades.
  • Proficient in project management, payment, and valuation software; strong IT skills essential in a commercial environment.
  • Methodical, organised, and conscientious with a focus on delivering high standards and cost efficiency.
  • Excellent communicator with the ability to build effective relationships both internally and externally.

The salary will be dependent on the level of exposure to the residential industry. The company offers excellent opportunities and offers a basic salary in the region of up to £80k DOE. In addition to the basic salary there will be further company benefits.
