Job description

Our client is currently seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:

Managing and overseeing change management and claims within assigned work packages
Utilising NEC4 contracts to ensure project compliance and effective cost control
Collaborating with stakeholders to deliver accurate and timely quantity surveying services
Providing expert advice on cost strategies and contractual matters
Monitoring project progress and ensuring adherence to budgets and schedules
Preparing detailed reports and documentation for internal and external review
Ensuring effective communication and coordination between on-site and remote teams
Supporting rail and station projects, leveraging relevant background experience where beneficial

Job Requirements:

Experience in quantity surveying within the highways sector
Significant experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor
Expertise in managing change and claims using NEC4 contracts
Capability to work effectively both on-site and remotely
Understanding of cost control and contractual compliance
Analytical and detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills
Proficient in preparing reports and documentation
Background in rail and station projects would be advantageous
