Job description

A leading national contractor is seeking a Project or Senior Quantity Surveyor to support the delivery of a long-term Maintenance and Construction framework. This is a key role within a collaborative Commercial team, offering the opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of projects under NEC4 contracts

The Role:

You'll be responsible for managing the commercial aspects of both planned maintenance and new build works across a multi-year framework agreement. The role involves close liaison with operational teams, clients, and subcontractors to ensure commercial success and compliance with NEC4 contract requirements

  • You'll be responsible for preparing and managing cost plans, valuations, and final accounts
  • Monitor and report on project performance and commercial risk
  • Support procurement and subcontract management
  • Contribute to forecasting, budgeting, and financial reporting
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience in a Quantity Surveying role within a main contractor environment
  • Strong working knowledge of NEC4 contracts (essential)
  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams across maintenance and build projects
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Somebody who has experience working as a Project QS, or SQS previously
  • This is a fantastic opportunity to join a respected Tier 1 contractor with a strong pipeline of secured work, working on a high-profile framework with long-term stability
