I’m looking for a Senior Chartered QS for a client who is multidisciplinary construction consultancy based in the North West, providing expert services in cost management, CDM advisory, and principal design across a wide range of sectors.

One of their senior team members is due to retire at the end of the year, and they’re looking for someone with the ambition and potential to step into that space over time. It’s not an immediate management role, but a clear route to progression is there for the right person.

The practice delivers cost management and principal design services across a broad range of sectors, including Healthcare, Education, Housing, Defence, Energy, and Civil Engineering.

They’ve recently transitioned to an Employee Ownership Trust. Employees now have a stake in the business, a say in how it's run, and share in future profits. It’s still early days, but the long-term direction is employee-led, with strong engagement and investment in the team.

Salary: £65k – £75k + Package.

This is a good opportunity for someone looking for progression into a senior leadership in a well-run, people-first organisation.

Interview process is flexible. MS Teams or face-to-face, whatever works best. A couple of conversations are ongoing, but the role remains open at this stage.
