Job Title: Quantity Surveyor

Location: North Wales (Office-based)

Contract Type: Permanent, Full-Time (41 hours/week, Monday to Friday)

The Role

They are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their growing team during an exciting expansion phase. Reporting to the Commercial Director, you will play a vital role in managing the commercial aspects of multiple construction projects, ensuring cost control, financial reporting, and overall project efficiency from inception to completion.

What They Are Looking For
  • Minimum 3 years experience in a Quantity Surveyor or Senior QS role within construction/property
  • Relevant industry qualification (Level 4 or above)
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
  • Full UK driving licence required
Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare procurement schedules, cost estimates, budgets, and tender documents
  • Manage subcontractor accounts, contracts, valuations, and payments
  • Produce timely and accurate commercial reports (e.g., CVRs, cost forecasts)
  • Identify and mitigate financial risks
  • Prepare and agree final accounts, including variations and claims
  • Collaborate closely with Contracts Managers, Site Teams, Clients, and Stakeholders
  • Monitor project progress for cost efficiency, performance, and compliance
