Job Opportunity: Quantity Surveyor / Senior Quantity Surveyor
Location: Leeds / Hybrid Working

Are you an experienced Quantity Surveyor looking to progress your career with a forward-thinking consultancy?

We’re currently working on behalf of a well-established and internationally active cost consultancy that delivers expert services across a diverse range of sectors. With a strong presence in the UK and expanding operations overseas, this firm is now seeking a Quantity Surveyor / Senior Quantity Surveyorto join their Leeds team.

The Role:

You’ll play a key role in delivering full pre- and post-contract quantity surveying services on a variety of high-profile projects. The role offers excellent exposure, autonomy, and the chance to take ownership of your own workload in a client-facing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Pre-Contract:

  • Estimating and cost planning

  • Advising on procurement strategies

  • Preparing tender documentation and contracts

  • Measurement and preparation of BoQs

  • Risk management and value engineering

  • Cost benchmarking and planning

Post-Contract:

  • Cost reporting and interim valuations

  • Managing variations and change control

  • Final account preparation and negotiation

  • Addressing and resolving contractual issues

Ideal Candidate:
  • 5+ years’ experience in a consultancy or contractor environment

  • BSc in Quantity Surveying or equivalent

  • RICS qualified or actively working towards chartership

  • Strong client-facing and communication skills

  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
