To join the Commercial team on this journey of excellence, we are looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team.

What will you be doing as our new Senior Quantity Surveyor?

You’ll act as the commercial conscience of the integrated delivery team, providing support to both the delivery management and on-site teams. Ensuring operations control costs, maximize value, minimize liabilities, and maintain quality and safety standards. You’ll oversee compliance with Alliance and Anglian Water governance procedures.

Key responsibilities include:

1. Managing all aspects of commercial and cost management of projects as designated by the Project Commercial Manager.
2. Ensuring robust cost management processes with accurate reports, data, and analysis for commercial decisions.
3. Ensuring team members understand contractual arrangements to satisfy client and partner requirements.
4. Collaborating with the delivery team to identify, implement, and monitor efficiency plans throughout the project lifecycle.
5. Maintaining records for audits and cost assurance, including final accounts.

About your skills, experience, and behaviors…

You’ll have extensive experience in managing costs. A degree in engineering, management, or a related discipline is beneficial, but passion and desire to pursue a career in Commercial Management are more important.

You should demonstrate first-class customer service and leadership skills, with in-depth knowledge of construction and safety, and be comfortable challenging processes to improve commercial offerings.
