An established and well-respected main contractor is seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor or Commercial Manager to take a lead role on a portfolio of key residential refurbishment projects in Swansea.

The position focuses on occupied high-rise buildings, delivering essential upgrades including:

• External cladding replacement
• Fire safety remediation
• Internal kitchen, bathroom and communal area refurbishments

Role Overview:

• Lead the commercial management of large-scale residential schemes
• Handle cost planning, valuations, variations and reporting
• Work closely with project and delivery teams to ensure financial control
• Manage client reporting, subcontractor accounts, and commercial risk
• Mentor and oversee junior surveyors within the team

Candidate Requirements:

• Proven experience as a QS or Commercial Manager with a main contractor
• Background in cladding, fire safety, or refurbishment projects preferred
• Solid contractual knowledge and commercial leadership skills
• Capable of working independently and managing multiple workstreams
