Job summary

Ceto Talent are supporting a leading engineering consultancy that is looking to appoint a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join its growing Southampton team.

This is a genuine Senior / Managing Quantity Surveyor opportunity where you'll lead projects, mentor junior team members and help support the continued growth of a successful regional team. Hybrid working with 3 days per week office or site based in Southampton.

Qualifications

• MRICS qualified or actively working towards Chartership within the next 6-12 months.
• Strong Quantity Surveying and Cost Management experience.
• NEC and/or JCT contract knowledge.
• Experience leading commercial delivery on projects.
• Strong client-facing and stakeholder management skills.
• Background within consultancy, contractor, infrastructure or building sectors.
• Commercially aware with a proactive approach.

Responsibilities

• Leading the commercial delivery of projects from inception through to completion.
• Managing cost plans, budgets, forecasts and reporting.
• Administering NEC and/or JCT contracts.
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships.
• Supporting and mentoring junior surveyors.
• Contributing to bids, proposals and business development activities.
• Ensuring successful project outcomes across cost, quality and programme.

Ceto Talent are supporting a leading engineering consultancy that is looking to appoint a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join its growing Southampton team.

This is a genuine Senior / Managing Quantity Surveyor opportunity where you'll lead projects, mentor junior team members and help support the continued growth of a successful regional team.

Working across education, healthcare, defence, coastal defence, commercial and public sector projects, you'll take ownership of commercial delivery whilst building long-term client relationships and supporting future work-winning activity.
