Responsibilities

· Preparation of contract budgets and cash flows

· Control of sub contract accounts including :

· Measuring of sub-contractors work Checking sub contractor’s submissions

· Preparation of final accounts

· Quantification and evaluation of variations

· Preparation of cost and value reconciliations

· Attend site meetings

· General contract administration

· Preparation of material schedules

· Preparation of monthly valuations

· Liaise with MQS on claims issues

· Be totally familiar with the client brief and act in accordance with that

· Undertake jobs and responsibilities in a professional and business-like manner

· Honour client and Adeo business confidentialities

· To manage a small team of QS’s.

· To carry out appraisals with the MQS or appropriate line manager

Requirements

  • Have a minimum 5 - 7 years’ experience as a Quantity Surveyor before you can be considered for a Senior QS position.
  • Demonstrated that you are able to manage medium sized projects independently (1 – 5 million).
  • Able to produce a report of actual performance (CVR’s) against budget on projects.
  • Able to maximise reclaimable value on a project.
  • Excellent team player whilst also holding the ability to work independently on own initiative
  • Excellent time management skills, with ability to work to tight deadlines.
  • Ability to encourage and support junior members of the team.
