Senior Quantity Surveyor
(Mechanical and Electrical)

My client is a Mechanical and Electrical services contractor and are actively seeking to recruit a Senior Quantity Surveyor/ Commercial Lead.
The ideal candidate would be able to support in providing full commercial awareness and to ensure the project management and operational delivery team are fully aware of all commercial and contractual matters involved on the project, whilst also providing support to the Commercial Manager / Commercial Director as appropriate and as required.
The role will be office-based between their head office and a site-based roles in Hampshire

Duties to include:
* Management of all commercial activities throughout the project life cycle.
* Negotiation and Contract placement of the Sub-Contract Agreements with our specialist Sub-Contractors.
* Preparation and submission of monthly interim valuations to our Client in line with our Contract.
* Manage, value and agree variations to the Contract.
* Carry out the valuation, preparation, and submission of compliant payment notices to our Sub-Contractors in accordance with their Sub-Contract Agreement.
* Management and agreement of variations with our Sub-Contractors.
* Agreement of final accounts upstream and downstream.
* Monthly production and presentation of financial reports for the project in line with the company timetable.
* Review and understanding of programme, and ensure correct contractual notices are issued in a timely manner and as required by the Contract.
