Job description

We are looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team based at Devonport Dockyard, Plymouth.

Location: Devonport Dockyard, Plymouth
Contract: Full Time, Permanent, Agile work available, minimum 3 days a week on site.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide commercial input including financial and contractual performance forecasts to the management team. Help ensure the business targets and KPIs are exceeded.
  • Prepare monthly cost/value reports and commercial reports for the area, review results, and consider trends with other contract team members.
  • Physically measure works and agree measurements with the client and sub-contractors.
  • Agree on certification and payment of sub-contractor accounts against forecasts.
  • Ensure maximized cash flow, including timely payments.

What we are looking for:

  • Experience with NEC or IChemE Contracts and familiarity with Coins, Causeway, or Oracle accounting systems.
  • Proficient IT skills, especially MS Office Excel.
  • Full valid driving license.
