Anglian Water is seeking a proactive Senior Quantity Surveyor to lead commercial management for the Central alliance. You will oversee cost information, forecasting, and risk, mentoring junior staff while aligning with AMP8 objectives.

The role requires professional membership and NEC/JCT experience, with a focus on value optimisation, cost control, and strong stakeholder collaboration across project teams.

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
• Experience in construction, infrastructure, or related industries.

Responsibilities

• Oversee forecasting aligned to programme and WBS structures, with monthly SAP updates.

• Support Early Warning process and Risk Reduction Meetings to drive proactive risk management.
• Assist with Purchase Order process and procurement compliance across budgets.

In this role, you will help the Alliance Senior leadership through systems, procurement information management, and data analysis, leading a team to provide the management information we need to effectively plan, monitor, and control our outputs.What you will be doing as our Senior Quantity SurveyorThe Senior Quantity Surveyor (Central) leads the commercial management and assurance of cost information, driving robust cost control, risk mitigation and contractual performance. The SQS provides strategic commercial insight to support decision-making, is responsible for the calculation of the alliance programme pool, cost forecasting and adherence to the contractual commercial terms.
