Job description

Job Title: Senior Quantity Surveyor

The Resolute Group, in partnership with the Managing Director of an M&E Contractor, is recruiting a Senior Quantity Surveyor to manage a portfolio of utilities and civil engineering projects. These projects range from circa £50k to £20m, including flagship and framework projects. The successful candidate will lead on these projects and mentor an Assistant Quantity Surveyor.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Prepare and provide up-to-date cost reports to clients based on project re-measurements.
2. Review client specifications and tender information thoroughly.
3. Collaborate with the project planner to develop monthly progress applications.
4. Capture all contract variations resulting from engineering deviations and site requests.
5. Attend site visits and client briefings.
6. Prepare monthly commercial reports and maintain control over all commercial aspects of the project.
7. Monitor earned value and calculate spend versus earned value weekly.

Experience & Qualifications:

• Degree or qualification in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management.
• Previous experience working on water and civil engineering projects.
• Significant experience leading projects.
