Job description

Senior Quantity Surveyor / Quantity Surveyor -

Location: Ideally based near Solihull
Type: Full-time

We are looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our growing Facades team. You'll take ownership of commercial aspects on a range of exciting projects, playing a key role in cost management, subcontractor procurement, and ensuring the financial success of works from tender through to final account.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop and manage contract budgets from tender stage.
  2. Monitor budgets and provide monthly cost/value reconciliations.
  3. Prepare interim applications for payment and final accounts.
  4. Procure and manage subcontractor packages.
  5. Record variations, manage claims and ensure recovery of verbal instructions.
  6. Maintain site records, progress reports and prolongation claims.
  7. Collaborate with project teams to support overall delivery.

What We're Looking For
  1. Strong commercial knowledge and leadership skills.
  2. Experience in residential and commercial sectors.
  3. Good contract knowledge (JCT, industry standard contracts).
  4. Familiarity with BMS/commercial systems and procedures.
  5. Health & Safety awareness and commitment to compliance.
