Kilnbridge is hiring a Senior Quantity Surveyor to support multiple major civil engineering schemes in the North West, including a £200m A57 bypass in Greater Manchester and a National Highways bridge replacement project in Cumbria.

This is an opportunity to be part of a growing regional team, delivering high-profile infrastructure works with long-term security, autonomy, and variety.

We re looking for a commercially hands-on Senior Quantity Surveyor with strong NEC contract experience and a background in structures, highways, and civils packages. If you ve worked for a Tier 2 or regional civils contractor, you ll be a great fit.

Senior Quantity Surveyor key responsibilities:

• Oversee cost control, subcontractor management, and CVRs on major civils packages

• Lead on NEC-based contract administration, change control, and reporting

• Support pre-construction activities and help shape delivery strategy

• Engage with clients, site teams, and commercial leads to ensure smooth delivery

• Work across multi-phase infrastructure and National Highways works

What we re looking for:

• 5+ years as a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor on civils projects

• Strong NEC contract knowledge

• Background in structures, bridges, highways or infrastructure works

• Experience with Tier 2 or regional civils contractors preferred

• Hands-on, proactive mindset capable of running packages independently

• Strong commercial awareness and stakeholder communication
