My client is looking to appoint an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to become the commercial lead for their Wales and Western region, supporting the delivery of specialist geotechnical and rail infrastructure projects.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join an established contractor delivering complex netting, soil nailing and IRATA rope access works for major clients including Network Rail and main contractors. Projects typically range in value from £1.6 million up to £14 million and are delivered within fast-paced rail possessions and blockade environments.
Reporting directly to the Regional Commercial Manager, you will act as the lead Quantity Surveyor for the region, taking responsibility for the overall commercial performance of multiple projects.
You will work alongside another Quantity Surveyor who focuses primarily on change management and applications for payment, allowing you to concentrate on commercial reporting, CVRs and providing strategic commercial oversight.
The role offers a genuine hybrid working arrangement, based from either the Preston or Manchester office with travel to project sites approximately every other week across the Wales and Western region, including works near Bristol and the Seven Estuary area.
This opportunity would suit an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor who enjoys taking ownership of the commercial function and is looking to play a key role within a growing regional business.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a specialist contractor with an impressive portfolio of rail and geotechnical projects, offering long-term career development and the chance to take ownership of the commercial function within a growing regional team.
