Winsearch is proud to partner with a growing specialist façade contractor looking to appoint an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to strengthen its commercial team.
This is a senior, hands‑on position requiring a proven commercial background within the façade or cladding subcontract sector. You'll take ownership of multiple projects from tender handover through to final account, working with minimal supervision while supporting the development of junior commercial staff.
The Role
Reporting to the Commercial Director, you'll manage the commercial performance of several façade projects at different stages.
Packages may include curtain walling, rainscreen cladding, architectural glazing, SFS and fire‑rated façade systems.
You'll work closely with design, procurement and project‑delivery teams to manage package scope, control change, maintain accurate forecasts and protect the commercial position of the business.
This is not a step‑up role. My client needs an established Senior Quantity Surveyor who can manage numerous projects autonomously and produce accurate, high‑quality work without routine checking.

About You
You'll be highly self‑sufficient, methodical and comfortable taking complete ownership of your workload.
You should be able to identify scope gaps, challenge commercial assumptions and communicate risk clearly without waiting for direction. Your written work, reporting and numerical analysis must be consistently accurate.
You'll also need to be a confident and articulate communicator who can negotiate firmly, build productive client relationships and support less experienced members of the commercial team.
