Hybrid working 3 days on site and 2 days working from home.

Role Description:

The Resolute Group is proud to be working in partnership with a Tier 1 contractor, delivering a range of infrastructure projects across the rail sector. We are seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to take responsibility for managing the Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) subcontractor packages across railway stations and depots, with your first project based in East London.

Reporting into the Commercial manager, your role will vary on a day to day basis but could include:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee contract management aspects to ensure performance benchmarks are met, enabling payment clause triggers.
  • Monitor subcontractor payments and contract amendments.
  • Create financial reports for both internal and external stakeholders, including cash forecasts for your package of works.

This is a perfect role for someone working for an SME or specialist M&E contractor and looking to develop into a larger Tier 1 organisation. Working on a hybrid basis you will be working on site 3 days a week in East London, then 2 days from home for Admin and MS Teams meetings.

Experience:

  • Degree in Quantity Surveying, ideally, or similar qualification.
  • Experience on site in a Quantity Surveying role, running a package of works from start to finish, including creating financial reports and forecasting.
  • Mechanical and Electrical packages of work, ideally building related
