Location: East Ham, Beckton area.
Sector: Infrastructure project.
Salary: £500 inside a day!

A major UK infrastructure project based in Beckton is looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor.

About the Role:

As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you'll play a strategic and hands-on role in overseeing all commercial aspects of the project. You'll lead a team of Quantity Surveyors and work closely with project directors, delivery teams, and stakeholders to ensure commercial success across key packages.

Offering: Hybrid position - 3 days on site / 2 at home.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of Senior Quantity Surveyor across multiple packages.
  • Provide expert commercial guidance on procurement, cost control, subcontractor management, and contract administration.
  • Oversee cost forecasting, risk management, and value engineering initiatives.
  • Ensure adherence to contractual obligations and manage any disputes or claims.
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams and client representatives to ensure project targets are met.

Requirements:

  • Substantial experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor
  • Strong Rail / Civils background in SQS.
  • Proven team leadership and stakeholder management skills.
  • Degree in Quantity Surveying or related discipline.
