  • Manage subcontractor accounts, negotiate contracts, valuations, and payments.
  • Deliver accurate and timely CVRs, final cost forecasts, and cost analysis reports.
  • Identify and mitigate financial risks to ensure projects stay within budget.
  • Prepare and settle final accounts, including contractual claims and variations.
  • Collaborate closely with Contracts Managers, Site Teams, and Clients.

Venn Group is currently partnering with a leading construction company based in North Wales to recruit for a Senior Quantity Surveyor on a permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing organisation with a strong industry reputation and a diverse project portfolio.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the commercial management of various construction projects, ensuring cost control, value for money, and high-quality delivery.

Location: St Asaph
Salary: £60,000 - £65,000 per annum (plus car allowance and benefits)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 41 hours per week
Contract Type: Permanent
Work Pattern: Office-based

The duties will include:

Prepare procurement schedules, cost estimates, budgets, and tender documents

Manage subcontractor accounts, negotiate contracts, valuations, and payments

Identify and mitigate financial risks to ensure projects stay within budget

Prepare and settle final accounts, including contractual claims and variations

Collaborate closely with Contracts Managers, Site Teams, and Clients to ensure effective project delivery

Monitor progress and performance, managing expenditure and maintaining commercial control

Minimum 3 years' experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Senior QS in construction

Relevant Level 4 qualification or higher
