Senior Quantity Surveyor

A supportive, family-like quantity surveying consultancy, based in Fitzrovia, is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor, with Associate ambitions, and a team-focused attitude, to join their rapidly expanding London office.

The Senior Quantity Surveyor’s Role

The successful Senior Quantity Surveyor will join a dynamic, thriving medium-sized consultancy operating out of five strategic offices nationwide.

As Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for managing a couple more junior surveyors, comp checking, mentoring, and helping them with their day-to-day quantity surveying work.

Alongside the management element, you will be working across 3-4 projects (new build and refurbishments). Projects will vary and be at various stages spanning the Residential, Hotel, Leisure, Education, Commercial, Healthcare and Life Sciences from £1m – £40m+.

This role would suit an ambitious Senior Quantity Surveyor eager to play a bigger part in a growing, up-and-coming firm. Someone who wants a clear path to Associate Quantity Surveyor and the chance to make a real impact and truly feel valued and rewarded for your input.

The Senior Quantity Surveyor

• Ideally MRICS or currently working towards
• Experience managing Quantity Surveyors within a PQS environment
• Previous Quantity Surveying experience within a UK PQS/Consultancy
• Associate ambition
• Good pre and post contract knowledge
• Comfortable working across multiple projects
• Team player
