Job description

Senior Quantity Surveyor - Salary to £90,000. Senior Quantity Surveyor will be taken on a permanent basis.

Our client is a building main contractor based in Central London and entrusted with some of Britain's most prestigious residential and commercial properties. They are dedicated to delivering an exceptional quality building service with absolute focus on customer care; underpinned by Core Values of Integrity, Commitment and Success, built on a strong foundation of Client Relationships where they enjoy the privilege of working with some amazingly gifted people and within the finest buildings this country has to offer. They are resourcing a role for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor.

They are commercially setting up several new schemes involving prime residential and the conversion of an existing building into a large hotel. The schemes are in the main structural cut and carve refurbishments. They require the skills of a Senior Quantity Surveyor to undertake commercial duties involving the whole array of responsibilities from procurement through to final accounts.

The successful Senior Quantity Surveyor will have a background and be competent on the day to day commercial issues of an on-going site. Other prerequisites include:

1. The Senior Quantity Surveyor will ideally have experience within the construction London market.
2. Experience of refurbishment projects.
3. Formal Quantity Surveyor's qualification.
4. Strong communication skills.
5. Commercially and technically competent.
6. Live within commuting distance of Central London.
