Senior Quantity Surveyor - London (with UK Travel)

£70k - £90k + £5k car allowance + senior benefits

Trevett Services are delighted to be partnering with an established Maintenance Service Provider to make the key appointment of Senior Quantity Surveyor.

Working across a mixed portfolio of contracts, the Senior QS will be responsible for developing contract value optimisation, tracking divisional performance of the services business, will continue to develop and implement a consistent commercial framework for the projects business and develop/adapt and implement a proactive approach to risk management reducing risk to as low as reasonably practical.

Main Responsibilities:

1. Preparation of pre-tender estimates / cost planning.
2. Taking a lead role in interfacing with the client and other consultants Pre & Post tender.
3. Compilation of tender packs including managing queries from tendering contractors.
4. Review of tender returns and cost alignment ensuring compliance with tender documentation including preparation of contract recommendation reports.
5. Carry out take offs and site measurement for material procurement and final accounts.
6. Check and approval of all MTC pre-measures and final accounts.

About you:

1. You will hold a Degree in Quantity Surveying (or equivalent experience).
2. Have previously held a Senior QS position with either an M&E Service Provider or Contractor.
3. Have experience of JCT, NEC3 and ideally NEC4 forms of contract.
4. Be proficient in the full Microsoft Office package.
