Job description

Anderselite are working with a tier 1 contractor who are seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their Water division.


The ideal candidate would have worked within Water/Utilities but the client would still consider people with a strong Civils background.


London based role
Paying up to £75k + package


Essential
  1. Previous experience in the construction industry
  2. Familiarity with IChemE/ NEC forms of contract and knowledge and understanding of Construction Law
  3. Previous experience in commercial management and procurement of subcontractors, including chairing regular meetings, measurement and control cycle, certificates, and accruals calculations
  4. Demonstrable experience of monthly forecasting and cost analysis.
  5. Excellent communication, numeric and computer literacy skills, proficient in Microsoft Office
  6. Excellent organisation and time management skills, with the ability to work effectively to tight deadlines

Desirable
  1. Member of RICS or other relevant professional body, or working towards
  2. CSCS card
  3. HND/degree (or equivalent) in Quantity Surveying
  4. Demonstrable knowledge and experience in estimation
  5. Experience working for a direct delivery contractor
  6. An engaging communicator with problem-solving skills
