Salary: £70,000-£75,000 + Benefits
Remote Working: Up to 2 days WFH
Living Away Allowance: (if residing more than 45 miles from site)
About the Role
We are recruiting for a leading construction organisation delivering large-scale, complex projects across multiple sectors. This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Quantity Surveyor with strong experience in EPC (Engineering, Procurement & Construction) and Tier 1 construction environments.

You'll play a key role in managing commercial aspects of major projects, ensuring cost control, contract compliance, and financial performance.
Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all quantity surveying duties including cost estimation, procurement, contract administration, and cost control
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to meet project goals within budget
  • Conduct cost analysis and risk assessments to identify savings and mitigate risks
  • Prepare detailed progress reports, forecasts, and financial statements
  • Negotiate and manage contracts with subcontractors and suppliers
  • Mentor and support junior quantity surveyors

Requirements

  • Degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or a related field
  • Proven experience in EPC and Tier 1 construction projects
  • Strong commercial and contractual knowledge (NEC experience desirable)
  • Proficiency in industry-standard QS software
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • MRICS or similar accreditation preferred but not essential
