Your new role

We are seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor for a major construction project on the Suffolk/Cambridge border. In this role, you will lead the commercial aspects of the project, playing a key part in its success by ensuring seamless execution of all commercial activities.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the project's commercial team and oversee all pre- and post-contract strategies, commercial functions, and contract reporting.
• Collaborate with clients and industry experts to deliver added value, ensure compliance, and uphold best practices while maintaining commercial viability.
• Oversee procurement strategies, sub-contract orders, and supply chain management.
• Handle measurements, valuations, contractual notices, and change valuations.
• Complete and submit monthly cost reports, progress updates, and tender strategies.
• Maintain positive project cash flow through upstream/downstream valuations and deliver accurate final accounts for main and sub-contracts.
