Job summary

Damicor Ltd currently seeks a confident Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a professional cost consultancy team. You will work on infrastructure, civils, utilities, and building projects, handling NEC contracts in early RIBA stages with a strong emphasis on pre-contract services.

Role involves feasibility to cost planning, with 16 months of feasibility work and on-site involvement planned for 2028. Hybrid working is available with a 3:2 split.

Qualifications

• BSc/MSc Quantity Surveying degree required.
• MRICS not essential.
• Solid evidence of RIBA 0-2 stage understanding required.
• Experience on £300M+ contract values.
• NEC contract knowledge essential.
• Sector background in Infrastructure, Aviation, Civils, Utilities.
• Comfortable chairing meetings.

Responsibilities

• Produce pre-contract services, cost plans and reports based on architects and designers.
• Oversee from feasibility through to cost plans.
• Manage 16 months worth of feasibility work with site work planned for 2028.
• Collaborate with project teams in a hands-on, proactive manner.

Job description

A confident and commercially confident Senior Quantity Surveyor, is now needed by a professional Cost Consultancy to join their team to work on a large infrastructure, civils, utilities and building project.

The Senior Quantity Surveyor will work on NEC contracts, and these are in the early stages, meaning a large understanding of RIBA 0-2 stages is needed.

The role is outside of Heathrow, meaning no airside pass is needed. Hybrid working is available for the Senior Quantity Surveyor. (3:2 split)

The Senior Quantity Surveyor's Role

This role is to produce highly accurate pre contract services, cost plans and reports based on architects and designers work. This is an incredible hands on and collaborative role.

From feasibility stages, right through to cost plans. This part has 16 months worth of work on it, with further project handling once on site in 2028.

Large contract value experience will be a huge plus.
