Ganymede in West London is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor on a £400-£450 per day outside IR35 contract to support major rail and civil engineering projects across the UK.

You will take commercial ownership from pre-contract to final account, guiding project teams and stakeholders to ensure financial performance and successful delivery. This long-term, high-profile role offers stability within a busy pipeline of work.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor in rail, civil engineering, infrastructure or construction.
• Strong NEC contract knowledge.
• Experience managing projects through full lifecycle.
• Excellent client-facing and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Managing projects from tender through to completion and final account.
• Administering and managing NEC3 contracts.
• Producing and managing Cost Value Reconciliations (CVRs).

Senior Quantity Surveyor

West London | £400-£450 per day | Outside IR35

We are recruiting on behalf of a large and highly respected specialist contractor delivering major rail and civil engineering projects across the UK. Due to continued growth and a strong order book, they are looking to appoint an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to support the commercial delivery of several high-value projects.

The Opportunity

You'll take commercial ownership of projects from pre-contract through to final account, working closely with project teams, clients, and senior stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery and financial performance.

The position offers involvement in a flagship, long-term infrastructure project, alongside a major rail civil engineering design and build scheme, providing both stability and variety.

Key Responsibilities

About You

To be considered, you should have:

• Experience working as a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor within rail, civil engineering, infrastructure, or construction
• Strong NEC contract knowledge
• Experience managing projects throughout the full project lifecycle
• Excellent client-facing and stakeholder management skills
• The ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
• A proactive and commercially focused approach
